	The Rapiscan Model 546 Cargo X-Ray Screening System is the latest addition to the successful line of Rapiscan Cargo X-ray Screening Systems. It fills a critical need in the cargo class of x-ray screening systems. The Rapiscan Model 546 is well suited for the inspection of medium sized cargo, freight pallets and large parcels. This system is ideal for use at airports, warehouses, border crossings and correctional institutions. The Model 546 incorporates state of the art technology, for superior performance and high reliability, which has made Rapiscan Security Products a worldwide leader in the security x-ray screening industry. The system is available with 320kV to 450kV x-ray generators offering steel penetration of 60 mm to over 90 mm.
Intel Pentium® computer technology is the driving force in our development of advanced features. The Model 546 offers Crystal Clear™ and Density Threat Alert as standard features and may be equipped with the Manual Image Archive option. The Model 546 is part of the Rapiscan 500 Series product design, which offers a wide range of product configurations.
